After years of standing in the shadow of famous boyfriends, Amber Rose
is finally stepping out on her own. With a new line of sunglasses in
the works, modeling gigs, video, radio and TV appearances, Amber Rose is
breaking out, and she definitely has a few things she’s looking to get
off her chest.
After some rumors about a near scuffle between Amber’s ex-boyfriend
Kanye West and current beau Wiz Khalifa at last year’s Coachella when
Kanye changed the lyrics of one of his songs to diss Rose, things had quieted down between the former lovers. Aside from a veiled comment on Watch the Throne
where Kanye raps that a strip club “ain’t the place to find love,” it
looked like the tension had finally died down, until the Los Angeles
afterparty for The Throne tour. An observant bystander took note that
Kanye had been devouring Kim Kardashian with his eyes all night and the
news spread like wildfire.
Apparently it was too much for Rose to keep quiet about and she let fly
that Kanye and Kim were cheating on Rose and Kim’s then boyfriend Reggie
Bush. Rose also said that Kim’s rampant sexting to Kanye is what
eventaully wore him down. It’s hard to say whether Amber was getting a
little revenge or merely paving the way for the new album she’s working
on, but it certainly had the tabloids buzzing. Whatever happens next is
anybody’s guess, but it’s possible that we might see some Amber Rose 2012 hip hop concerts,
and when those start happening, who knows what dirt will come out.
